Tall Ships Sailing Around Nova Scotia

Canada - Tall ships, including those spectacular classic sailing vessels from around the world competing in the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge, gathered in a glorious parade of sail this week in eastern Canada.  Hugely popular among locals and visitors, the crowds came out in force to witness the spectacle, a fine tribute to Halifax's maritime history, and a fine way to enjoy a gorgeous sunny day in Halifax Harbour before the month of "Fogust" serves up its pea soup.
